CA Foundation Subjects | Papers – Basics

Overall, there are 4 papers or subjects in CA Foundation, out of which 2 are subjective type papers and 2 are objective types.

Paper 1 and Paper 2 are Subjective papers.

Paper 3 and Paper 4 are objective type papers.

Earlier all the papers were objective types.  But, now subjective papers include theoretical questions in the exam. It means students will have to write those subjective answers rather than select an answer from 4 options.

This surely makes the papers more difficult to score.

However,  objective questions will also be asked in the subjective papers.  So, essentially it will be a mixed paper. Questions will be subjective as well as objective types.

Paper 3 and Paper 4 are completely of objective types. However, one thing must be very careful. Negative marking for selecting wrong options is there in the objective papers.  So, students must be very careful.
